This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.

This position is in the Department of Psychiatry - Administration.  The position is located at 4480 Clayton Ave.  This position is for the Medical School Campus.

Essential Functions


Position designs and develops complex computer programs and supportive documentation.


  1. Develops a wide variety of complex computer programs to meet the needs of the department.
  2. Analyzes requirement for complex business, statistical, technical, mathematical and scientific problems where practices may be standard.
  3. Writes, details and codes program instructions.
  4. Prepares flow charts and necessary documentation.
  5. Tests and debugs programs, correcting program errors by modifying instructions and sequences.
  6. Evaluates and resolves software/hardware problems for computer department working environment.

Required Qualifications

Equivalent of Bachelor's degree in computer science with 2 or more years of experience in programming.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced programmer with a Computer Science degree.
  • Working knowledge of varied hardware and software programs and demonstrated ability to create programs under various levels of pressures and time frames.
  • The following skills are highly preferred:
    • .Net
    • C#
    • VBasic
    • MVC
    • SQL Server basics
    • HTML

Salary Range

The hiring range for this position is $51,293 - $66,685 annually.
