The DataPower Sr. engineer under the guidance of the architect, partners with customers and provides a key role in helping to lead projects and in designing solutions. The DataPower Sr. engineer will provide a senior software development role to design, develop, and implement capabilities in .Net/C# that advance the road map and vision of the Ecosystem Mapping team and its partners. The successful candidate will help to maintain in-depth subject matter expertise and domain knowledge with regard to capabilities for the corporate Enterprise Architecture repository and other repositories used to maintain critical IT capability relationship data. The DataPower Sr. engineer will assist in process optimization, and assess progress through data-driven metrics.


  • Planning, Testing, Installation, Tuning, and general administration of DataPower.
  • Work  with SOA, Web Services, SOAP WSDL, WS Security, XML, XSLT, XSD, and UDDI.
  • Will be working on configuration and maintenance of Data power appliances, SSL Protocol, public and private Digital signature ,cryptographic algorithms and certificate authorities.
  • Day to day administration and troubleshooting of a complex distributed computing environment.
  • Some work on Mule, Websphere MQ, and Springboot is possible.
  • Shell scripting to automate tasks.
  • Collaboration with other teams in the planning, architecture, and implementation of new applications, standards and processes.
  • Manage PMRs with IBM and closely work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Participates in continuous assessment process to ensure that systems are achieving contractual metrics and IT objectives.
  • Participates in the Architecture assessment and communications for system retirements and migrations to new platforms.
  • Participates in Disaster Recovery planning and testing.


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 3 or more years' experience in installation, configuration, and administration of IBM Data power XI52,XI50 hardware and Virtual  appliances including ,installation ,configuration, tuning ,Firmware upgrade ,migrating
  • Should have strong experience on configuration and maintenance of Data power appliances, SSL Protocol, public and private Digital signature ,cryptographic algorithms and certificate authorities.
  • Experience working with IBM Support Center and ability to capture must gather documentation for IBM problem resolution.
  • Experience in Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat.
  • Experience with Networking /Routing concepts, firewalls, and F5 load balancers technologies and other network concepts.
  • Experience on other Web, Application, and Middleware technologies is a PLUS: Mule, WebSphere MQ, Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server Such, PEGA, BroadVision.
  • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate concepts and ideas effectively both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization 
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines
  • Individual should be able to work in a group setting and is willing able to share individual skill strengths with group members and has a can-do constructive positive attitude.  
  • Perform 24x7 support in a rotation with other staff members
