The Curators of the University of Missouri/University of Missouri-Columbia - Programmer Analysts-Expert (Cyberinfrastructure Engineers) in Columbia, Missouri
Work closely with researchers to help them evaluate their research computation needs and to recommend solutions that allow them to take full advantage of the resources available. Develop scientific workflows to advance research in all areas, including bioinformatics, machine learning, material science, and computational chemistry. Employee has the option to work remotely from the location of his/her choosing, provided he/she can work in-person onsite on short notice as needed (approximately 2 times per month).
BS in CS, Eng. or related field. 4 yrs. exp. working w/software in supercomputer/high performance computing (HPC) Linux cluster environment; using domain-specific applications & processes (engineering and computational fluid dynamics); scripting & programming, with bash, Python and Perl; and working with Linux operating system, utilizing the command line interface.
