$22.00 to $26.00 per hour DOQ

The Merced Irrigation District (MID) is seeking self-motivated and qualified individual to fill one (1) Information Technology Intern position within the Information Technology Department. The
intern should expect to work full-time hours during summer break and be assigned to work on various projects within the Information Technology group. Candidates with an interest in desktop support, systems, networking, and cyber security are encouraged to apply. The qualified candidate must be enrolled in an program leading to a degree in Information Technology or have recently graduated from a four (4) year college or university with an emphasis in Information Technology; have demonstrated installing and maintaining computer systems; have the ability to troubleshoot research, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner; have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely; experience in developing documentation, implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to IT support; have the ability to work with minimal supervision; have the ability to follow oral and written instructions; and have the ability to work cooperatively with others. A valid California driver license is required.

Pre-employment drug screen and background investigation are required for the successful candidate.
