Live Event Streaming Coordinator (#00201)
Information Technology Services (ITS) at Old Dominion University is seeking a full-time Live Event Streaming Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the successful execution of live event streaming initiatives across the campus. This includes coordinating with event organizers, managing the technical aspects of streaming infrastructure, and ensuring seamless and high-quality live broadcasts. The position aims to optimize the streaming process, maximize audience engagement, and effectively connect the campus community and beyond through captivating live event experiences.
Required qualifications include:
- Strong technical expertise in live event streaming technologies and equipment.
- Working knowledge of video and audio production principles.
- Excellent event coordination skills working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with event organizers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
- Strong organizational skills for documentation purposes are also important for this role.
- Ability to integrate streaming requirements seamlessly.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and remain knowledgeable of current technology trends.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality streaming output.
Additional considerations include:
- Considerable knowledge of live event streaming technologies, equipment, and software.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Working experience in coordinating and managing live broadcasts across various events.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or other relevant certifications in live event streaming, video production, or streaming platforms.
