Business Systems Analyst. Priority Health, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Performs business analysis for health information systems, working with users to define their needs, document requirements, and translate requirements into system specifications; Devises or modifies procedures to solve health information system problems, considering software application capacity, resource availability, operating time and desired results; Troubleshoots issues with existing systems; Provides technical project coordination for new implementations and upgrades. Requires: Master's or foreign equivalent in medical informatics, bioinformatics, or related, plus 12 months of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Integration Analyst, Bio-informatics Analyst, or related. Above experience must include one year developing and supporting healthcare informatics systems, including one year: 1) Building interfaces between health care organizations using Intersystems Ensemble interface engine, Salesforce, HL7 language, VIPR tool, and Oracle SQL database; and 2) Utilizing MIDIGATE tool, Informatica ETL, PuTTY, AWS, and 4medica big data MPI.
