The position: Under the supervision of the Director of Network Services, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the server environment for the primary support of domain controllers, system applications and data integrity. This will include the overall management of Active Directory, Azure infrastructure management, and backups. This position coordinates with management, application analysts, and technical support personnel as an active and supportive member of the Information Technology team. Salary range: $78.818.39 - $87,575.99 annualized salary depending upon a combination of education and experience. View/download job description including hiring salary range: Systems Administrator – Azure Operations Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards) Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position. Examples may include a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years related experience in network and/or server management, an Associate’s Degree and seven years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the functions of the position. MCSA, CCNA, MCSE certifications desired. Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure AD, and associated cloud technologies. Windows operating systems and Microsoft Exchange, networked applications, data protection and preservation procedures, management of Domain Controllers, all aspects of Active Directory, and working knowledge of integrations between Azure and Active Directory. Experience in the following areas desired: Monitoring and managing operating systems, domain controllers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Azure Active Directory Cloud Services, strategic and tactical planning task automation, training, information privacy and security, project management, and systems management. Other necessary skills: Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, good written and oral communication skills, innovative approaches to planning and problem solving, ability to train others both individually and in groups, excellent organizational skills, able to meet deadlines and goals.
