What you’ll be doing...

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and analyze current technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic corporate objectives.
  • Identify and propose specific strategies, initiatives and remedies necessary to align technology infrastructure with corporate objectives.
  • Support development of business drivers, business case and high level program implementation plan.
  • Translate customer business issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements.
  • Develop conceptual solution architecture using combination of standard products and third-party suppliers to produce end-to-end customer solution.
  • Build and communicate the value proposition of the end to end solution to client executives.
  • Partner with specific product specialists to identify and collect detailed technical requirements.
  • Partner with bid management organization to build out detailed RFP responses and contract development.
  • Coordinate efforts across support and product specialist organizations to ensure overall integrity and consistency of final proposed solution.
  • Work with the account teams as the lead subject matter expert to develop solutions and recommend services to meet customer’s business requirements.
  • Base understanding in network design and convergence, including routing/switching, cloud, mobility, and M2M with focus on security, resiliency, availability, and latency.
  • Possess strong presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver technical presentations with customers and to tailor content to audience as appropriate to include ROI/TCO and the demonstration of financial value.
  • Share knowledge and experience to enhance the technical capabilities of peers and build prospective opportunities.
  • Possess solid understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to articulate the technical differentiation and value proposition of company solutions.

What we’re looking for...

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or BS degree (preferably in Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing role desired(sales, sales engineering, consulting) serving as a technical and business process expert developing end-to-end customer solutions.
  • 3+ years of architecture experience desiredin conceptualization, definition, development and implementation of IT/Telecom based solutions in one or more of the following:
    • Data and IP Services (MPLS, VoIP, VPN, IP PBX)
    • Managed Network Services (LAN, WAN, CDN, Managed IP PBX)
    • Managed Security
    • Cloud Services and Data Center Outsourcing (application hosting, managed storage)
    • Unified Communications Technologies
  • Proven strong project management skills with accountability for end-to-end delivery.
  • Current and valid industry certifications in one or more of the following:
    • Cisco Career Certifications – CCIE, CCDA, CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCVP
    • Microsoft, Polycom, Oracle

CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in sales or service delivery with Fortune 500 company.
  • Successful project delivery with Fortune 500 company.
  • “Big 4" consulting experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business Administration.
