The is Prior Authorization / Operations Manager responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers. Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate, supervise and accountable for the daily/weekly/monthly activities of team members
Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met, such as: Quality, Adherence, Service Level and AHT
Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc
Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
Provide coaching and feedback to team members, including formal corrective action
Conduct annual performance reviews for team members
Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers
Manage and accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors


Associates Degree or Higher
Able to work 7am to 5pm with ability to work flexible hours, including OT and weekends
3+ years of operations experience, preferably as a supervisor, business manager or workforce manager
Basic navigation skills with Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, and save a basic spreadsheet), Microsoft Word (ability to create, edit, and save a basic document), and Microsoft Outlook (ability to send emails)
Former Customer Relations experience
Must be able to travel between Cypress and Costa Mesa locations, with at least one trip a month to Mission Valley, CA

Experience leading personnel towards the attainment of exceptional performance results
Knowledge of Call Center systems such as CMS, IEX, CTI and TCS preferred
1+ years of experience in a client facing role preferred
Understanding of call center performance metrics and measurements
Soft Skills

Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to hold team accountable
Ability to follow through on tasks
Needs to be able to strategize and understand business structure
Strong time management and attention to detail
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, .
